J-2 / D-Day minus 2

and the happy retirees are not happy today 
This Sunday afternoon we will send our cat Fangio to Cat Heaven, or, phrased otherwise, he'll go over the Rainbow Bridge. In plain words, he's gonna die ! After  very long thinking, and making the list of all pros and contras, we finally decided to have it done before we leave; we did not want to put this enormous responsability on someone else's shoulders (someone else meaning Cathy or Margaret). Yes he might have lived 6 more months, maybe 10, or maybe only 1 ...
J-2 et tres tres loin d'etre prete ... pas vraiment la tete a preparer une valise vu qu'on va envoyer notre chat au Paradis Felin ce dimanche.
Notre amie est arrivee hier, elle va s'occuper de la maison pendant notre voyage et surtout, bien profiter du climat sudcalifornien. Bonne facon d'echapper a l'hiver europeen.  Nous allons passer en revue la loooooongue liste "a faire" , "a ne pas faire" "a verifier". Elle a amene un tas de livres car il faut bien dire que notre jardin invite a s'y installer paresseusement.
 Il y a qq jours nous avions 29C, ce soir  nous sommes frigorifies .. il ne fait que  11 C !!!!
